KAUTC holds three meetings a year typically on the first Wednesday of February, June and October. Meetings cover practical issues such as pavement markings, traffic signals, traffic control and signing. They provide a forum for sharing information on the latest traffic control technology and standards.

Membership is available to any person active in some phase of traffic engineering in Kansas. An application can be obtained online or by attending one of the meetings. The application must be filled out and submitted to the Board of Directors for approval.
